Travellers´ Guide
I see religious text and doctrine as guidebooks - travellers´ guides for a passage through the community and environment that we live in.
Each religion has different guidebooks with variations in style and relevance.
Within each religion, there are variations in the texts as they have been written. I have looked at the same quoted passage in different Bibles and the wording and context change significantly from one to another.
Once these texts are converted to different languages, the difference in messages is only compounded.
It is no wonder that there is so much confusion.
