Can there be a better example of Benevolent Dictatorship than the family? As parents we make decisions for the family with the best interests of every one at heart.

My experience of families, surgical units, sporting teams,  and charitable organisations are they are not democracies. They function best when run by benevolent dictators.

Consider the notion of being governed by a group of learned elders who have the best interests of the community at heart. Not our ´standard´ politicians.

Who will these people be?
